Posted June 15, 2015 Depends on the board. If you get a board that supports BIOS flashing with a flash drive while the system is off(and no hardware), then yes. I bought an 87 board with a refresh cpu, somehow i didnt notice. I noticed when the boxes arrived at home. So i installed it, and it booted, but it was very unstable, so i flashed the bios (87 board with haswell refresh cpu). The computer has not given me any kind of problem after thw bios update, the stability issues went away instantly. So try that, if it doesnt boot, buy a cheap processor to do the update Main rig.
