I'm feeling good about this again. I got mb mounted, and now I just need my pcie riser.

I realize most of my posts here are me rambling and changing my mood, but whatever.

PCI riser didn't work, but I no longer need it.

I was turning on computer with screwdriver, saw a spark, now it won't turn on...

Dissconect the PSU for one minute from the wall. It may triggered the overload protection, but don't recover automaticly.

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil

But I don't think it would get that hot that fast....

70ºC is pretty hot, but you should test if it goes over 90ºC when under load.

If it goes over 90, you should find a way to increase the air flow.

This was idle, 5 min, still rising, I shut down PC.

do give up :(  it took me 4 cpu coolers and about 6 fans and tons of testing to get the NES running cooling, I know you can do it!

 

just take a break and come back to it later ,I am sure an idea on how to cool it better will pop in your head :)
