what sort of setup do you recommend and i money is not too big of a concern i can get the projector and a good audio system of course dont go too crazy and the room is fairly small 5.7 meter by 4 meter

Something along the lines of a Yamaha RX-A2040 ($1700) or a Denon AVR-X4100W ($1500) receiver should be plenty for that room (of course you can always go higher, if you want).

The Powersound XV15SE subwoofer should excite your room pretty well ($900). The HSU VTF-15H is another good option (same price).

For speakers, the PSB Imagine X2T (or X1T), Imagine XC and Imagine XB should do the job for a 5.1 setup. This should run you around $2200 with the X2T or $1800 with the X1T.

For cables, you can easily get decent ones from any local shop (buying by roll may work too). The set will fall around your $5000 ballpark. Such a system should do your projector some justice.

You can upgrade the system to Atmos later on once you have the time to mount speakers on the ceiling.

i want the audio to sound good but to me the picture is much more important because im not going to be listening to music and how much better can explosions sound if i drop 15 thousand on the audio also. 5 thousand for the audio should be enough

well up to you man but for me audio is much more important that visual. as i do listen to music about 50% of the time.

As i also strongly believe picture is only 50% of a movie experience.

4K looks great on a large screen. You are correct, there's not a lot of material at this point.

You'd want two of those speakers. Get the center speaker and bookshelf speakers as well, while you're at it. That way, you can at least have surround sound. :)

The bookshelves are sold in pairs, so one "Qty." should get you two units (unlike the towers that are sold per piece).

Speaker wires like this would do (as long as you wouldn't put it behind your walls):

http://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Enhanced-Oxygen-Free-Copper-Speaker/dp/B003L14ZAQ

If you like banana plugs, you can get something like this to terminate your speaker wires:

http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Gold-Connector-Banana-Plugs/dp/B0090CVJZ4

A mono RCA cable can be used to hook up your sub. Something like this (just select the length that would suit your application):

http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-ULTRA-Subwoofer-Cable-Feet/dp/B003FVX9FO

The surround bookshelves can be wall-mounted or put on stands (depending on your room layout). The center speaker will either be on a stand or on a shelf (also depending on your room layout).

Search "silverback speaker wires" in Amazon. You'd see it in different pre-terminated lengths.

Buy 5 of them to reach all your speakers.

That's the one. Get the right lengths to reach your speakers.

Get good HDMI cables, particularly for the long run from the AV Receiver to your Projector (since it'd likely go to your ceiling). Something like this should work:

Have you shopped around for the right screen? That is just as important as the projector when it comes to picture quality.

How's your room's finish and lighting? A dark-colored room will almost always do better than a light-colored room.

can you recommend a screen and does it matter if the lights are off

Yes, the color of the room will have an effect even if you have your lights off. The light bouncing off your screen will illuminate the room, and will reflect back into the screen. This kills contrast.

These ones are good bang/buck, just choose the right screen size for your room and your throw distance:

http://www.amazon.com/Elite-Screens-Sable-150-inch-Diagonal/dp/B00FXOTWY8/

For a light-colored room with not many viewers off-axis, select the PowerGain style. That style rejects stray light better.

Think about other stuff too:

1. Speaker and Projector Mounting

2. Equipment Rack

3. Furniture and Room Layout

4. Acoustics

You don't need pre made wires.

Just cut the cable to the desired length and remove the isolation. There are no banana plugs needed.

Actually the only benefit of banana plugs is that they are faster to connect and deconnect but you won't deconnect the speakers for a long time.
