I'll admit - this is NOT an advised way of cooling your Macbook 2015, and you should NOT try it at home... But does it provide a tangible performance benefit?

It was actually very interesting. I didn't think it would cool it as much as it did!!!

Pfft. Amateurs. Don't you use Adobe Media Encoder for your outputs? it lets you preview your encodes. That, and I would really expect some quality control on these videos! Given that LinusTechTips has grown so big.

You know, I've been video editing for almost ten years now... If you're interested, I could provide some quality control and assurance for you guys. :-)

Thought the preview pic was used as a joke.

I'm so glad it wasn't.

Zip tying CPU coolers to boards after removing the retention bracket, partially submerging laptops to cool them, I love this kind of crazy red-neck engineering.

Well......it seems Apple really jumped the gun by having no active cooling. CPU's still have a fair way to go before Apple can go nuts with them.

When you open the video, read the title then immediately see a water bottle at the side..

I won't deny this video didn't make me a little bit warm and fuzzy inside..
