Port Forward Help

I am trying to port forward for a server for the new game Ark:  Survival Evolved.          I have port forwarded on the same router for a minecraft server, but for some reason it won't work with ark.  For minecraft the port is 25565.  I will port forward that and it will work.  but if i go to can you see me.org it says that the port is not open.  the same thing happens with the ports i need forwarded for ark, but my ark server won't work.

Help

I can help with programming and hardware.

Which IP address are you using?

Try using your public IP address when port forwarding. You can find it by Googling "Public IP address."

i don't get an option to use an ip when i port forward.  I get the option for the port to forward, then to select a device.

Why not just use Hamachi? Port forwarding just creates alot of headaches and when you're finally done doing it, there's some security risks.
