AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Active unlock code

Hello community,

 

my sister purchased an at&t samsung galaxy s4 active and needs to unlock it. I have gotten to the point where the phone asks for the SIM network unlock PIN but i don't have that code. Does anyone know any way to get the code other than the many websites that say they can e-mail you an unlock code for a price? Has anyone used any of these websites before like simunlock.net?

 

I have heard of rooting cell phones but i don't know if that will unlock the phone. Any advice in helping me unlock this cell phone would be greatly appreciated guys and or gals

As you don't really want to be using a website, your only option is to ring AT&T up themselves and ask for it. Although personally I don't see anything wrong with websites, albeit I haven't used one myself, you'd be charged either way..

I forgot to mention that my sister nor i live in the US. She purchased the cell phone from amazon.com.

I got the unlock code for Samsung Galaxy S4 GT I9505  from safeunlockcode.com but you can check other code providers to see where the price is less for your network.

I would suggest a trustable unlocking site called TheUnlockArena.com  here they unlock your phone using unlock code.Even, i had unlocked my phone from them.

Thank you for the suggestion but i failed to mention that i live in the Caribbean and that site does not support the local carriers. I suspect though that i need to get a SIM form a US carrier for me to get an unlock code.

i got the code from www.attlumiaunlockcode.com & followed below process.

• Turn off your phone
• Insert other network Sim Card.
• Turn on your phone
• Phone will ask for Unlock Pin
• Enter Unlock Code.
• Phone will show a message " Successful " or " Sim Restriction Off ".
• Now AT&T Lumia phone is Unlocked.
