the best mouse, is the one you feel fits the best in your hand.

i'm a palmgrip person with big hands, that likes a heavy mouse.

hence, i only use the big bulky logitech mice (their build quality is also a nice addition)

I have a Mad Catz Rat 7. It is the most customisable mouse I have ever seen and it has 4 dpi profiles, a sniper button and a body that you can make have a poly-carbonate or ridged rubber body for added grip, adjustable thumb rest and palm rest.  It's like 50-60GBP.

Looks like this:

May seem fine till you actually use a mouse with a good sensor. Just google the issues with it.  2 of my friends had them. They also thought they were fine. Both of them ended up buying SS Rivals.

Think I've never used anyone else's mice before? My mouse works fine and I've had it for 18 months.

There are a ton of good mice out at the moment. The Logitech G502, G400 series, G303, Deathadder, corsair m45, zowie fk1 or 2, some of the mionix mice and Roccat kone are all good shooter mice. I personally like something simple like the deathadder or zowie.

It really depends on how you hold a mouse and whether you like it to be light or heavy.

Personally I would go for the g502, M45 or Zowie fk1 / 2

But at the end of the day its about personal preference
