I want to say "More higher is more better."

But really, it's games that are fast-paced where it's easier to feel the difference between 60 and 120Hz. 60 Hertz is good enough for the majority of the people.

anything fast paced.

i play very slow paced stuff (like the occasional sims) @30FPS, and i dont notice it.

but when snappy interaction and fast moving images come to play, higher framerates really help.

i'd also like to add that microstutter is worse than low frame rate.

This.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Solitaire is the only game I can run at 120Hz at ultra settings.

I can play Minesweeper on ultra at 144fps. Much system. Such wow. Be jealous.

I don't do signatures.

What other people said, almost anything, even Windows desktop! If you're not playing fast action though you could probably get away with it, but you won't look back. If you're playing anything competitive, it's worth it!
