I need help finding a good monitor

Alexk492

I am quite new to PC's, and just ordered a bunch of parts to build one. The only problem is that I don't have a spare monitor to display the graphics. The only problem is, I know NOTHING about monitors, and I need some help.

My build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Alexk492/saved/#view=wcbD4D

In the end, I had to spend about 1k on the PC with the os and other stuff. I don't wanna be spending a bomb on a monitor, I just want a good one to last a bit until I'll get a better one.

I would like a 1080P monitor, and also just a 720P or anywhere above just to see if I can save a bit for later monitor upgrading. What I mean is that I want to see a couple monitors from 720-1080P.

Anyone know a good monitor that could last me a bit, or just a good one? I want to see those graphics from that GPU I spend $350 on :P.

Yeah, maximum is $300.

https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vg248qe or https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vx279q Big differences

1st one, smaller but higher refresh rate.

2nd, is bigger, IPS, but is only 60hz
