Can you actually make money Mining?

Hey guys, I have a fairly decent build, and was thinking of getting into BitCoin mining. Would it be worth it? And what could I potentially make?

Core i7 4790k

Asus Matrix Platinum 980 SLI

32gb DDR3 RAM

1TB SSD

Thank you.

You wont make anything dude. You need an ASIC miner to make any decent amount of money

An ASIC wil be the only thing to work. Also, even if you were doing GPU mining. NVIDIA cards are shite at it.

Nothing. mining with PC hardware is dead. Your investment will be bigger then your return.

If you want to get into mining, rent out miners. And please PLEASE do your research.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?
