My new SSD is arriving today, what's the best way to run the firmware upgrade (if one is available),

once I install Windows and install Samsung Magician?

id upgrade the firmware on it before putting anything on it

..then install windows on it

If you need remote help fixing something on your computer

Do I connect it to my laptop via USB adapter and then run Samsung Magician?

I dont think there are any available upgrades for the 850 evo.
