I'll buy a game of GabeN vows that my money goes towards the hiring of a tech support team based out of India because even that would be a substantial upgrade from the current support that Valve has.

Not a knock against India. Amazon is almost exclusively based out of there, it's blatantly obvious in the emails I get, yet their service is top notch and consistent.

So yea, that I will happily fund.

Idk why but I feel like all my excitement for steam sales has really died down after the first couple ones, sure its amazing when you just built a pc and are you're building up your steam library but after you own the same games that go on sale every year its pretty meh

How are sales shitty ?? or is it just in your book that anything related to Valve is shitty no matter what it is ?

I may get some copies of CSGO.

 

He just has a general hate boner for Valve because of their well known crap customer support to the point where people excited about sales are somehow the devil, regardless of the fact that the steam client allows quick accessibility to a social community platform where you can share your experiences and that it paved the way for more mainstream PC gaming by being decently non-invasive DRM. Has he given his obligatory disdain about "kids" for the day and a derogatory comment about the PCMR subreddit yet? It's just genuinely hilarious considering they constantly bring up how crap steam support is compared to all other platforms and were a large part of the gaming subreddits that brought up very well thought out criticisms about Valve's paid mod implementation.

I have been preparing for the next sale by idling games and collecting cards and then selling them.  I priced many too high though in the last few days and so none sold.  I have a few games in mind that I want to see discounted in the Steam sale but I have no "must buy" games right now.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

I know what you meant because other people of my rank or higher will be buying silver accounts too so I'd still be playing at my rank. I could also take it as if I bought a silver account I'd still be playing with people my rank cuz my skill is of a silver.

I don't think you understand, when you buy a new account it's unranked, and you get a skill level after 10 games, from my third game I played against Novas and MGs, I hoped that I will play against silvers but nope, then I got to Nova master after 10 games.

I belive if you want to play against silvers you just try to suck ? and not play with your full level.
