Does anybody know this PSU?

CNY RMB

Hi,

does anybody know of the NZXT HALE82 V2S 750W power supply? I couldn't find it on the official nzxt website. I could only find the HALE 82 V2 series, but non of them in 750W. I found it on tmall, which is usually very reliable for brand name products.

Here is the link:

It is quite cheap, so I am not quite sure

Thanks
Jakob

I was actually wondering if it is a genuine one, since I can't find it on the official website. i read multiple Jonny Guru reviews about the NZXT PSUs and they were rated quite ok.

I don't think it is a good idea to stick to some psu you cannot find on the official website, this may be only a fake "nzxt" psu. Just get a corsair or be quiet or whatever psu you can find on the official homepage of the manufacturer.

It's weir that you can't find the original site and in general just get some good stuff form XFX, Seasonic, Be quiet, EVGA, Cooler master

According to my psu list the V2 series only comes in a 550W and 700W version. It's made by Sirtec and it doesn't look to be very good anyway. You'd be much better to stick with the Hale 82 which is Seasonic or Hale 90 which is SuperFlower.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!

HALE82 V2 is nothing special, basically an overpriced Corsair CX with a paint job.

I disagree. I'd take a CWT Corsair over anything Sirtec. That's damning with faint praise because there's a lot more units I would pick before I got to that Corsair. And even worse, what OP posted doesn't seem to jibe with the list which has stood me in good stead for a couple of years. I don't know what he posted but I wouldn't trust it.

I meant performance wise. Easiest reference is to a CX, and even CX is already overpriced without a sale.
