LG G3 - screen dead spots?

Hey guys, i have an LG G3, and recently there have been dead spots (spots that wont pick up my touches) on the very top of the screen. I've had the screen replaced once already, but this was not an issue after it was first replaced. 

 

Is there any sort of a fix for something like this? Or is the problem with the screen itself?

 

Note: it has been dropped a couple of times, however it hasn't been dropped from higher than a meter, and it always lives in a protective case.
