Then if it is a bigger gap, or even a smaller one, but bigger than the normal filter holes, change it :) because larger particles could slip through and we don't want dust in our PCs ;)

So I have bought a few filters, the magnetic ones and I am wondering how to clean them, do I use water, and do I leave them to dry. I have also noticed that they are gathering gaps in between the mesh. How do you guys clean your filters?

Stick them under running water, dry with towel, leave to dry thoroughly on warm radiator... profit!
