Peripherals needed ? OS needed ?

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

So he doesn't need peripherals ? I'll include OS then ...

Windows 7 is NOT limited to 16 GB, however Win 7 Home is.

I have 24GB using Win7 Pro on my Game/CAD rig

I would do something along thoses lines :

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xhpDVn

He gets a good amount HT'ed cores

A good overclocking potential

Rooms for later upgrades

64gb of ram for great performance scaling

A good storage use in raid 1 (I suppose he works with external drives since he's a professional)

A 970 for a good cuda use 3D rendering along with later SLI potential since it's the best blower available on the market.

And a very reliable PSU.

It's a bit above 2K but there are always ways to get extra rebates. I suggest the use of windows 10 alpha to save money.
