Android M preview topic

I just installed android M on my Nexus 6!!

So far I can say.....it hasn't blown up yet!

And I did the easter egg and it's hilarious!

Wilkl post video soon :)

So I finally got some applications installed, everything seems to be fine as far as compatibility wise with M. The new photos application is really cool, reminds me a lot of Apple's iOS one.

It might not have blown up yet, but I'm sure many apps will be entirely broken and unable to work.

I wouldn't suggest using it as a daily driver.

If you want to be technical, then the beta was released back in 2007... before Cupcake :P ... ... but yes, it's just a fancy title...

;_; It's not supported on the Nexus 7 (2012) I know it's an old tablet but the Nexus 7 (2013) isn't even listed.

There will eventually be unofficial ROM support.

I am strongly considering switching from iOS to stock Android when my contract is up.  I've been having a lot of performance issues with my 6 Plus.  I've been really disappointed with it.  I'm also over the whole "phablet" craze......

  • 3 weeks later...

Pulled this over on my Nexus5 when they released it and...

+

Volume control is better.

When the new instant google Now will work it will change multitasking.

Flashligt dosnt turn it self off and require reboot to work again.

Camera works better and dosnet crash/require reboot.

Startup time is faster.

New copy/paste is better!

-

Things crash / reboots phone(sometimes).

N7 dosnt work as well anymore. (But you probably dont use that)

New copy/paste dosnt work sometimes.

Wait, how is your iPhone 6 Plus having issues? I thought it would be just fine, never heard complaints about iOS, just Android, even stock android.
