AMD gaming PC Help

Hi everyone. My brother is considering building an AMD PC, but doesn't know where to start for parts. His budget is $700, but I can probably throw in an extra $100 if needed. He won't need any OS, but he'll need a monitor, keyboard and mouse. He wants to play current AAA titles if possible withing that budget. Thanks for all the help guys

I wouldn't bother building a 700$ AMD pc, before Zen comes out.

AMD FX CPUs are outdated, go with Intel or wait until the new AMD CPUs comes out.

THIS. HANDS DOWN.. THIS. OVER ANY FX SYSTEM - Seriously.. FX has a use case of Rendering and Encoding uses, THAT its talent... for Gaming, your losing out. If you wanna play 5/5 games just fine, and not 4/5 games just fine... do this build or similar.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I appreciate the build. :)

If you actually get this build, buy another motherboard than the one i picked. Since it doesn't suport usb 3.0.
