Toolkit for Electronics

Speakerator

Hi @all,

I am currently in search for a toolkit similar to the iFixit Pro Tech (containing miniature screew drivers, plierts, bits etc.) I know the grandmaster itself once recommended the stuff from iFixit and I think they do make some really nice stuff - however I found various reasons criticising the quality / finish on the tools. I used to use my dads tools but moved out recently so this 'D be my first set. Regarding tools I'm thinking buy quality ones once. Anyone has personal recommendations?

best regards

IFixit tools aren't great but they have everything you need. Budget?

its more expensive to piece parts one by one but you'll certainly get what you want that way. for the most part blue collar tools will out last you so its worth it.

I mentioned that kit just as an example. I'd like to stay below 100 bucks, but could trade some of the more exotic tools for better quality, since I won't need them anyway. Just looking for this "Will solve 90% of your problems and will last long" kind of kit  ;)
