A good 500-650w PSU?

owenrees1

I'm looking for a fully/semi modular PSU for my new build that needs to be between 500-650W

My PC is hopefully going to last me about 5 years, so I need the PSU to be reliable, and preferably quiet

Any help would be appreciated :)

Not as good as the XFXs or Antec.

This XFX is pretty good for the price http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650xxxb9

As is the EVGA 750B2 http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vr

For fully modular, 80+ gold and hybrid fan mode, there's the EVGA 550GS http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220gs0550v1

Get yourself a Seasonic G series. (its not modular)

or get an \

ANTEC EDGE 650W its fully modular. made by Seasonic. and Johhnny GURU's only con on it was. https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Antec/EDG650/1.htmlI also own this PSU. its really quiet. has a white LEG that you can turn off if you dont want it.

XFX TR I think is based on the exact same OEM that made it from seasonic.

The Seasonic G series is semi modular. I think you might be getting it mixed up with the S12G which is non modular.
