Is GTA V still amazing?

I've never even thought of this game as being "amazing", it still has issues with cheaters, lag, and matchmaking. Load times take forever, people continue to get randomly disconnected all the time, and then issues with missions/mini-games as well.

 

Is it worth it for $60? Well if you have friends to play with, then yes, but if you don't then maybe wait till Summer Sale.

I've run into hackers three times, never had anything bad happen, just given money.

 

I still love it, I've logged over 125 hours since PC launched

I've run into quite a bit of hackers, probably about 15 - but most are just people giving away money. The Crashes are annoying (my 980 seems to love crashing, even with latest drivers), but overall its totally worth it. Just a precaution though, the matchmaking is a joke in missions/heists. 

 

I've put about 70hours in it this week.

Not really, I haven't spent much time in single player and mods aren't allowed in online

I think its a fun game, i'd not say worth the wait for the PC release, but its very rare a game is worth a 1.5 year wait time after release on a console. 

The first thing that happened in online though was a nice chap rolled up next to me in his car and decided that I didn't have enough holes in my head, so fixed that problem promptly and drove off

The single player alone is worth it, Honestly a great game.

The single player is fun, and multiplayer is great if you have friends to do it with. I think I'm heading towards the 500 hours of total playtime, but I had the ps3 version on day one.

I fully enjoyed the online for about 60 hours. It still fun to play with friends from time to time. But I really haven't been playing it. I still haven't played the single player yet which I'm going to get around to one of these days.The first hacker I ran into was pretty funny. He was throwing snowballs at me. I really don't think hackers ruin this game at all. Its so easy to switch servers or just avoiding them all together by playing in your own server. The game is well worth the money. And I think Rockstar did a great job on the PC version.

Apparently Rockstar think that only people in The United States exist. There are no servers for EU, OCE, Asia ect... Hard to connect and once you do it's a lag fest. Don't buy this for online like I did and learn the hard way it doesn't work properly for us.
