if i do open it then what?

You'd have to look how's the state of it, once you are used to components you can get a lot of information about them by looking. Broken connections, swollen cap, burnt mark, bends, scratches, etc.

Hey guys,

So i changed my case and everything then i start it up and i realize that one gpu fan stops then 5 secs after the other fan stops please help when i connect by hdmi my pc to the monitor it just shows no connection and thats it, my gpu is a MSI gtx 980 4g and my psu is a 1200 its that high because i had a titan x and then it broke so yea please help i know I'm a noob.

Titan X breaks -> you RMA it, don't replace it.

GTX 980 breaks -> you RMA it :P

The repairs take too long -> you can risk breaking the sucker open but I don't think you would want that.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

When you swapped the motherboard to the new case, did you properly installed the standoffs?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Impossible. If it came to you broken, the manufacturer will 100% of the time, always replace it.
