PC build

Hi guys I want you to see this build and tell me your opinion for some of the components.

  • case: fractal design define r5
  • psu: corsair rm750
  • cpu: i7 4790k
  • mobo: ASUS Z97-C
  • ram:Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 2400MHz
  • gpu: Palit GeForce GTX 970 JetStream  (I choose this one and i need ur opinion, because in my country 900series are too expensive and i found this one for 350€ while the other are 410+)
  • ssd intel 750 400GB

and for now i wanna buy a hyper evo 212 for cooling and later i 'll upgrade it.

It will cost me about 1800euros.

Tell me if you think should i wait for broadwell (will they be too expensive)

If i go with 8 GB of ram should be enough?

1. Do not get that RAM, it's overpriced and the extra speed is not needed

2. That PSU isn't that good. Get an XFX TS gold PSU (550W would be perfect for you)

3. 750 SSD is not needed.

4. What are you using it for? If it's for gaming, just get an i5 and a better GPU.

I gonna consider getting another psu.

So if i get kingston fury ram 8GB cl10 1866 for half the price is still ok?

Well about the 750 all i can say is pure hype!!:P

I was thinking a i7 would be better because i am not gonna upgrade soon.

1. Yeah, in fact that's still overkill. 1333/1600MHz is perfectly fine.

2. The 750 is stupid in most cases. In very few cases will people need a 750 SSD.

3. An i5 will be perfectly fine for a very very very very very long time

This way i can save much money

And for a psu i want it to be modular for clean wiring **(oh wait that psu u told me is half modular or something, right?)

If all your data fit into 400 GB and you like it, then go for it.

If you need an extra HDD, you are way better of with a big SSD for all applications.

Palit is ok I think.

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil

I don't think so, I know so. Also, the RM series is semi modular as well. The PSU I told you is (iirc) semi modular too.
