What Settings could I get in The Witcher 3 with a GTX 970 and i5 4690k

Shaan5

I have a G1 GTX 970 Overclocked to 1510Mhz and an i5 4690k running at stock(Although I plan on Overclocking at a later date) as well as 8GB of RAM.

What settings could I run the game at, 1080p and a locked 60 FPS are a must.

Also Mods are not included and I don't care for Hairworks or any of the other Nvidia Settings

Thanks

I have an overclocked 970 (1444Mhz 24/7) and a stock i7 4790k, with only a few settings turned from ultra to high and hairworks off, I haven't dipped below 59fps yet (30 hours into the game).

Ultra with some grass settings turned to high and no hairworks for 60 FPS at 1080p.

My setting is everything Ultra, Foliage on High and Hairwork off, 60FPS most of the time, when it rains and a lot of light objects around, it got to 55FPS minimum, I could turn down more but decided that FPS-dipping situations aren't common, I got 70FPS normally if I unlock the framerate.

For Post-Processing, I turned off Motion Blur but the rest is maxed out.

Have you done any Voltage tweaking, I'm running with the stock Voltage but with the Power Limit at 112%, I imagine I could get it further with Voltage tweaking but I don't want to damage anything. I don't know if the G1 has Samsung memory or something else though

Thanks

Your G1 probably has Hynix memory but 300 is still great. You don't need to worry about memory as much as you do about core clock. I don't mess with voltage because my poor Strix can't go any further than I got it even with the additional voltage.

Medium-high settings; check the benchmarks, there are plenty for The Witcher 3 out there.

Oh, Ok. I might mess with Voltage a bit and see if I can get the Overclocks to go even higher.

+500 without Voltage is great!
