EK White/plexi pump setup

D5 FTW  :D

In either setups, you can't use the Bitspower DDC heatsink or D5 Mod Kit with the EK pump tops.  They aren't compatible.

Nice list  ;)

EK-D5 Vario Motor: http://www.ekwb.com/...ario-motor.html

EK White top: http://www.ekwb.com/...iginal-csq.html

EK Nikkel Bottom: http://www.ekwb.com/...kel-acetal.html

Sounds good, but sadly the EK Nikkel Bottom comes with a Acetal part, which ruins the all white/see through look.

EK-XTOP D5 Vario - Plexi (incl. pump): http://www.ekwb.com/shop/pumps-and-accessories/pumps/ek-d5-series-pump/ek-xtop-d5-vario-plexi-incl-pump.html

If I get that 1, can I use it with the EK Nikkel Bottom, without using the Acetal part?

Or can I buy the "Acetal mounting ring" (I'm guessing thats what it is called) in Plexi or White separate?

I don't believe you can use the acrylic mounting plate with the EK Nickel bottoms since it relies on compression the acrylic one was just designed to hold the pump.

Alternatively wrapping the pump with a vinyl or carbon fiber wrap works well at recoloring the pump if that's what you desire.

No but you could always paint the mounting plate in white.  I know Acetal isn't the easiest thing to paint but it can be done.

Yeah, that was the backup plan.

More work, but I guess thats the only choice, unless I can find a D5 pump that works with the Bitspower set.

Any D5 pump will fit with it.  You only need the Bitspower pump top to be able to fit the Bistpower Mod Kit.

Here's an example in one of my builds.

EK-D5 PWM: http://www.ekwb.com/shop/pumps-and-accessories/pumps/ek-d5-series-pump/ek-d5-pwm-motor-12v-dc-pwm-pump-motor.html

Bitspower Top: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-519-BP&groupid=962&catid=2141&subcat=2143

Bitspower Bottom: http://www.bitspower.com/html/product/pro_show.aspx?num=81093104&kind2=16

So that combo would work?

Also, I use a fan controller on the PWM pump?

Yes this combo would work.

If you go with a PWM pump, you will control it with your CPU Header on your motherboard.

D5 Vario are also awesome and a bit less expensive  ;)

Will see which I go with, as the Bottom set prevents Vario from being changed, once installed.

definetely D5 and I like the Plexi version, but go with whatever would look good in your theme.
