when are we gonna ditch the screen pixels?

I went outside once, the environmental drawing distance was insane. By far the best water reflection image details I have ever seen. And the rain effects? Mind. Blown.

Yep. *sigh* I need one of those 1440p 60Hz CRTs. Because they'll give me 1080p @ 120Hz, and since the high refresh rate negates the flickering and the extremely high colour quality of CRT (1024x768 85Hz IPS colour range vs 1024x768 60Hz CRT=mind blown, especially when watching DVD), I'll be able to say fuck LCD's for a very, very long time (watch digital TV on a CRT screen with a set top box, then watch it on a 1080p TV that pixilates the image, the CRT screen looks better).
