Help with Mechanical Keyboard Purchase?

So I've been debating about whether I should get the Corsair K70 (http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00CD1FC6G), the Logitech G710+ (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126299), or wait for January when Razer hosts the 50% off sale?

The Corsair keyboard is good. I have a k95 and like it a lot. Which keyboard looks the best to you? Which switch feels the best to you? I like reds (fps player)

Whichever is cheaper now between the Corsair and Logitech. Both are good and waiting for anything from Razer is a dumb idea as they still won't be worth what you're paying for even when on sale.

I tend to prefer browns, since I typed on blues before and I enjoyed it but I'm afraid of the loudness of it. I'll def try to test it out more in stores tho! And is the rgb worth it?

I've heard some bad things about the quality from Logitech, but I don't think I ever saw a sale from Corsair. Do you know of any regular summer sales or something of that sort?

The G710+ fixed the issues with the quality of the keycaps. It's a great keyboard so no worries. Also, I have heard an abundance of issues of Corsair's LED stuffs on their keyboards.

 

Perhaps check around for sales but I cannot think of anything off the top of my head.

if you don't enjoy playing around with the keyboard then I wouldn't be able to justify the extra cost for the RGB leds.

I have two k95 RGBs (one for work and one for home) and i have not had any issues with the leds; however, my friend had to RMA one K95 for a bad LED.

I'm debating because I tend to never look at my keyboard when I type. I only use the backlight on my laptop when I want to find where to put my hands in the beginning, so I don't know if it's worth it

The LEDs are fun to play with.

I type without looking at the keyboard too. The LEDs are fun to play with and look really nice. I have spent probably 30 hours playing with the LEDs (I even wrote my own program to interface with the keyboard)

Take a look at the RGB profiles on the corsair forums and see if you want to use any of them
