Budget Repeater

The Toaster
Go to solution Solved by Luke4efc,

$30 won't get you anything too spectacular. I have Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router which I have installed the DD-WRT custom firmware on to get a wireless repeater. However it seems quite expensive (a mate gave this to me) at around $85 on Amazon. You might be able to snag one cheap on Craigslist or ebay.

Found one here for $23:

I need a nice repeater to extend signal to my laptop, and the rest of the house. Currently my strength is 25/6, and I would like to get it up to at least 30/30. I will not only be connecting to my laptop when at home, but also my ps4. So, a LAN port would be great. I wouldn't mind buying used. My budget is around 30$

Thanks a ton!

I have not found much awesomeness for 30 USD..

Why not go for a switch?

1 ethernet in, 4+ out.

It needs to be plugged into the wall, being that I have no coaxial cable in the room.

A repeater should suffice, due to the fact it will also boost my wifi.
