I don't recommend ASRock boards, especially for gaming because they are just so low-end and unreliable (I'm not getting into why here, I do it far too often).

The GPU should be the most expensive thing in your system, look at the r9 280 from Gigabyte. It's like $50 more, but will give so much better performance.

If you want my attention, quote my post or I will not see it. I ignore builds that do not use PCPartPicker.

How about the ASUS B85M-G R2.0? (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B85MG_R20/)

Should be solid for a budget system, however a z97 chipset would be slightly more beneficial if you ever wanted to overclock with a new CPU (if you can find one for a similar price)

I'd recommend a R9 280X/280/270X. They are going to be faster than a 750 TI

CPU i7 4790 - GPU Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce 3x OC - RAM 2x 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury - MOBO Asus B85M-E - Case CM Silencio 550 Storage 2x 1TB WD Red - OS Windows 8.1 OEM - Phone OnePlus One 64GB Sandstone Black
