Back in 2014 the creative director of Planet Side 2 during SEO Keynote said something that offended the Sony Community Really Bad.

But to be honest SOE has been all about Pc gaming in the past so there was no reason for the whole community to be mad at him. He just spoke the truth. Let me know what do you guys think

Seen it.  Who cares?  It's the truth.  I mean Sony might not be happy, as it makes their console look like a turd.  But considering the game is also on PC means that they'll still get sales there.

It was either tongue in cheek, or slip of the tongue.  It didn't sound like it was all that anti-console.  Not the most brilliant thing to say, but he got a laugh out of a few people, so I wouldn't say opportunity lost, and as long as the game gets better as time goes on... who cares?

Silly bastards aren't they.
Why are they peasants? because they have weaker hardware?
I was a console gamer because I was introduced to consoles as a kid, all of my friends played colones.
I didn't give two flying fucks about graphics I just enjoyed playing games, I play pc now though as I wanted something new, but the fact that you pray on console gamers makes you look like a joke and frankly, everyone on console laughs at you master race dickheads.

I love pc but I hate you kindzzzz.

Edit, don't think I'm butthurt though as I would never go back to console.

But honestly, console players buy there console, buy there games and play them.
PC gamers buy there hardware, build there rig, and then fucking moan about console....console players don't even think about pc....
It's so sad.

The textures on PC aren't much better.  They used to be WAY better back in PC beta, then the "optimization" patch crapped on all the textures and shaders.

 

The problem with the above picture is less the textures, more the fact that there are no shadows anywhere on screen, it's completely washed out

I don't think that's from PS4, as much as I agree it won't be up to par with the PC version (running on decent hardware) that looks like its from an early build/low settings on PC. A few people have also mentioned this on r/pcmasterrace, which I'll assume is where you posted the image from, also a quick image search links to another forum where a PC user mentions he prefers playing it on lower settings. 

Although I understand the intention of your post (PS2 will look trash on console) it's wrong to masquerade something that isn't necessarily true.
