This is WAY off topic... human organ molds......

I remember watching something on TV a long time ago. When people need organs but do not have a compatible donor what some doctors did was take the incompatible organ, soak it in some chemical that removes most of the organ's tissue but left behind an organic mold of some sort.... They would then take this mold and use cells from the person who needed the organ to regrow the organ from the mold but with the DNA of the recipient. This would pretty much clone the organ that is needed without any ethical controversies.

 

Does anybody know the TV program I'm referring to? And what this thing is referred to in the medical world?
