Corsair H60 Pump Noise

Hey

So, I just built my first computer and was pretty fixated by having a computer that outputs a minimum level of noise.

So I bought some quiet fans, (noctua NF-F12) and i have a quiet case (NZXT H440). And when i was done tuning my fans the only thing i heard was this noise, like 5 HDDs running at maximum speed. And I thought it didn't sound like normal fans, so I turned off all the fans except the radiator fan (which is barely audible) and opened the case and tried to find out what was making that noise, and it turned out to be the water pump on my Corsair H60. it was so loud that the only way that sound wouldn't be the dominant sound in my case was to turn all the other fans to max. Is this normal for a H60 or have I just gotten a broken one?

That doesn't sound very normal. Is this happening at load or also at idle. I know it's obvious but make sure that it is plugged into a pwm connector, as it could be running full speed when it doesn't need to

The pump is connected to the opt. CPU fan header on the motherboard, but I don't think you can regulate the pump speed.

it has the same sound/noise from start up to idle to full load

it says that it runs at 4500 rpm, but I think that is normal for a h60

This is definitly not normal. The corsair product page says "In fact, the H60 is similar in noise levels to a 120mm case fan you probably already have", so I think contacting corsair support would be your next move.
