I need finding a $300-400 phone. I need it to have good battery life and not stutter too much.

Heyyo,

On or off contract? If on contract which carrier do you prefer?

Off contract? Asus Zenfone 2 has decent battery life but a mediocre camera.

Otherwise? If you want a little cheaper? The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 is a really good budget phone with great speakers and a decent camera.

There's also used phones you can try to buy. LG G3 is probably one of the main ones I'd recommend looking for as it has a really good price compared to other 2014 flagships and has a decent battery life. If you don't care about camera? The HTC One M8 is one amazing phone with a decent battery but mediocre camera.

$300-400 isn't bugdet phone range. BLU has alot of great phone options in the $150-300 range, I recommend the Studio Energy which can last up to 4 days with normal use on a single charge thanks to it's 5000mAh battery(it can also charge other usb devices): http://www.bluproducts.com/index.php/studio-energy
or the Vivo IV which is one of their higher-end phones, it's the thinnest phone in the world but don't worry it's constucted with 98% metal and gorilla glass so it's strong : http://www.bluproducts.com/index.php/vivo-IV

Heyyo,

Who the hell told you zenfone had a mediocre camera?

Dude... what's the title of this website? :P

Right around 7 minutes... seems to suffer from the same problems as the HTC One's Ultrapixel camera. Great in low light, but the rest of the time doesn't even compare to other smartphone cameras. That's pretty much why I decided not to get the Zenfone 2... My ol' HTC One M7 was an amazing Android Phone... but I hated the camera.

Same like the review that C4ETech did

For budget cameras? The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 got better reviews.

I need finding a $300-400 phone. I need it to have good battery life and not stutter too much.

For good battery life and less stuttering issues then it's a +1 from me for the Alcatel Idol 3. It's software (AOSP) seems much more ironed out then the skinned Lollipop on the Zenfone 2 which has been having battery life issues (Linus reported as well). As stated above the Idol 3's camera is also better, along with it having front-facing speakers.

As u are concerned for battery i think One Plus One will suit you, although Asus Zenfone 2 is a very nice phone but, right now one plus one have much descent battery maybe asus will solve battery issues in upcoming updates

anyways dont think much about it and choose from these two, i have tried both phones
