Jaybird Bluebuds X

Hi LTT community, I have had the problem of ruining several pairs of earbuds by tugging the cord too hard while running. This has lead me to search for a pair of wireless earbuds to remedy this problem. I came across the video on the Jaybird Bluebuds X, and I was bent on purchasing them...Until I saw that the came out in 2012. I don't want to buy these now, just to see a newer better version released the following month. If any of you have experience with Jaybird, I was wondering when the release of the updated Bluebuds would be released. If any of you have other recommendations for earbuds, that would also be appreciated.

I have them. Worth every penny IMO. I wouldn't be too worried about a newer one releasing.

My friend bought them for cycling, training and school and he said they were pretty good. Though he made the mistake and bought it at the Apple store for quite a bit last year.

Thank you for your responses, I have contacted Jaybird, and a sales rep has verified that a new model will be released by the end of summer 2015. However he didn't reveal the exact release date. I think I'll wait for the new model to be released, before deciding if i'll buy the new one or the old one.
