Looks like a steal, however the keycaps don't really look like they're transparent. LED's are pretty pointless then.

Looks like a steal, however the keycaps don't really look like they're transparent. LED's are pretty pointless then.

The LED's are bright enough that they pretty much shine straight through lol.

I've been eye-ing this keyboard because it's one of the few choices with MX Clears

 

but the keycaps are ruining it for me. I'll never understand the fascination with color/customized keycaps, and after the cost+shipping of a set of black keycaps, it will be practically back at the price of a new one

 

sigh

(anyone interested in swapping keycaps if I bought one, lmk)

That's the problem with most keyboards on massdrop, it's one model or nothing. Personally I love the keycaps and just bought one :D
