I'm brand new here and I wanted to see the thoughts of the more seasoned people out there about my new/first computer build (if what I have is sufficient or if I should or need to buy something of higher quality). While I do play video games, it's not my first concern; my primary focus is rendering for editing software such as computer animation, video editing, and other art oriented things. Below will be the list of what was put on the printout of what I bought so forgive me if there's a more proper term for what's listed.

-WH14NS40 16x Internal Blu-Ray Rewriter

- ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 LGA 1150 ATX Intel Motherboard

-ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked 4GB DDR5 Video Card

-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Universal CPU Cooler

-Corsair Carbide Series 300R Mid-Tower ATX Gaming Computer Case

-Crucial Ballistix Sport 16 GB DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 8GB Memory Modules)

-EVGA 600B 600 Watt ATX Power Supply

-Intel Core i7-4790k 4.0GHz LGA 1150 Boxed Processor

-Samsung 850 EVO Series 250GB SATA III 6GB/s 2.5" Internal SSD Single Unit Version MZ-75E250B/AM

-WD Desktop Mainstream 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA 6.0GB/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

I didn't include extras like the monitor, keyboard, etc. since they aren't a priority to me. If I missed anything please let me know and thanks in advance for any assistance.

What amount of money you will be willing to spend?
