Air cooling help!

Hello,

 

I've got an issue with my air cooling in my case CM K280 (bad airflow) anyways. I have 3 120mm fans, one in the front, second one on the side panel which is pulling air into the case and an rear exhaust for taking out the hot air.

 

What options do I have?

Buy new case. If those are your only places for fans, getting better ones won't help that much.

I prefer to have my side panel fan exhausting gpu air so it's not bouncing around in the case and heating up your cpu. You could try rear and front intakes with side exhaust but I don't know how much good it will do you

No top fan. There is no place for it.

I've never used a 560 so I dont know what kind of heat they put out  I found that it helped lower my gpu load temps and my cpu temps since my ambient case temps were a little lower. try it both ways and see what you get.

I don't know about a regular 560, but a 560 Ti gets pretty damn hot. According to Wikipedia, the 560 has a slightly lower TDP than a 560 Ti, being at roughly the level of a 970...

I've got an Asus gtx 560 directcu ii.

The ASUS DirectCU II is quite a good cooler, which will help. Anyway, the exact heat output of your GPU doesn't really matter. 0ld_Chicken's suggestion is a bit unconventional, but it makes perfect sense that if you exhaust air next to the hottest component in the case, which is nearly always going to be the graphics card, it'll help temperatures.

Ugh, define "hot". Stock 560Ti max temp 75C with Furmark and fan speed limited to 45%.

Max temp is 63C while 46% fan speed.  Using heaven.

All things are relative. In a worst case scenario, with no case fans and quite a few other heat-generating components mounted close to it, as is sadly still the case in my rig, it'll hit 90 degrees with clockwork regularity, in both games and benchmarks. I'll get a new case delivered tomorrow or the day after, so I should see those temps drop soon, but at the moment they're rather high...

Still, that could be scenario with other GPUs aswell, not particulary with 560Ti. This is first time I've heard it considered "hot" card. For me it was way cooler than previous blower card (EVGA 8800GT).
