G3 Bumper Case - drop protection

I have a brand new G3.

I am putting Phantom Glass and a dbrand skin on it.

But I am looking for more protection, against drops especially.

First I was going with a transparent case, so the skin would be visible, but then I found out about this bumper case thingy.

now...

this seems pretty good, but I am worried it will look very bulky and will detach, because it lacks a back. And I am also worried it won't really protect the phone that much.

And I don't even know, which one to get, I want to get a good one, not some piece of crap.

Are my worries just a bunch of nonsense of are these real problems?

And if I would to get a bumper case, which one do I even get, where do I even start?

Thanks a lot for the help.

I'd go with something like this that still protects the back, because I dropped my friend's G3 by accident, and even though it landed on it's back with a Slickwraps skin applied, it hit a screw that was on the ground, and dented through the back cover, also denting the battery :/ So yeah, this is my suggestion, cause Spigen ftw

Tech21 is a great thin case. I switched from a spigen. Spigen was great Just a little bulky. Tech21 is the way to go if you like thin.

It's Canadian dollars. So when you convert it to USD it's only around $28.

And yes it is expensive, but it looks the best to me. And that eBay crap isn't gonna sell me.

Thanks for the help, but these cases all have a back and as far as I can see only 1 of them has a transparent one, so while these all look great, it is really not what I am looking for.

I am looking for a piece of plastic that will go around the sides of the phone and also have a bezel to protect the screen from a front-facing drop.

I getting a skin from dbrand so, I want the back more or less intact. I don't think I'll be dropping it on screws.

So only if I can't find a good enough bumper case, I will get a transparent back case. In that case, the Spigen case looks very very nice.

I was wondering if you know of any bumper cases, other than this thing.
