New SSD and WIndows 10

SSD: Important applications, OS, browser

SSHD: Videos, Downloads, Pictures, bigger games etc.

Ok, so my current drive is a 1TB Seagate Momentus XT SSHD (Cached with Intel RST) in my laptop (primary computer) running Windows 8.1. I am going to replace the optical drive with an 512GB Samsung 850 Evo, with the SSHD in the optical bay caddy (SATA 2) and the SSD in the primary bay (SATA 3). I will run the disks separately with different drive paths.

So my decision is this: Do I....

A ) Clone the current drive to the new one and continue as is, and upgrade to Windows 10 when it arrives

B ) Wait until windows 10 arrives and then install windows onto the SSD and start from scratch

C ) Wait until windows 10 and install it on the SSD and then move over the files I need from the SSHD (programs ect)

Which do you think is the best option, and do you think my above plan is a good one?

Also, what should I be putting on each drive, as the SSHD does struggle under heavy load at the moment...

Thanks in advance
