so, not knowing what a chromebook actually is.. i bought one a few months back. i thought it was googles version of a mac. it was like $280. not bad i guess for a 14 inch. i mainly bought it to play emulators.. like gamecube and ds and shit. but it cant do that, or download anything for that matter, aside from pictures. it has a google play store aswell, which is also pointless. this thing is literally useless.. good for porn though. was very disappointed but my mom likes it. what would you guys recommend to buy for emulators? not really looking to buy, just want to look, and to share my hard learning of chromebooks.

You could put Linux on the thing. Though you won't have a lot of space to do stuff (storage wise).

Ya, you could install linux and remote to a more powerful PC for gaming. Chromebooks currently are for Google docks and internet browsing. Everything is saved to the cloud. could go as far as to say there x86 tablets with a keyboard.

Actually have then in school and there amazing for school work. Not Much else tho
