Make fan curve in Afterburner "softer"

So on my sleeper rig, I have Afterburner installed (like always). I have a custom fan curve set up, and it does nicely, but the jumps between temperature thresholds is rather jarring and annoying. Is there some way to make the transition "softer?" My fan curve is basically a diagonal line after 60C, so it's not like a stair step.

 

P.S. The jump seems to be in values of 2%.

Using a stepped setting should fix that issue.

Unless you mean adding more points, but I don't see what that would do.

Yes, the one that looks like stairs. The issue with the curve is that the fan speeds would keep changing according to the temps. If your issue isn't the ramping of the fan speed but instead the fan speed itself, the solution would be to just lower the curve.

Decrease the fans speed update rate. Not sure if it will hit the card performance though. (Default=5 sec iinm)

I changed the hysteresis to 2C and it seems a little less obnoxious.
