Yes it is. But it's a crippled chip. Kinda weird as it's branded "Ti".

It looks that way, TiX with 6GB Vram with a slightly higher clock seems like they are either bricking it with R9 390X release coming soon or want to release before AMD get there fingers on the market with HBM.

I am no longer hyped for the 980 Ti. I went with Titan X sli. Hopefully the 980 Ti is awesome.

I wasn't expecting this to be honest. Doesn't fit nvidia's ways of marketing. It's impossible to understand what's going on in the GPU market so I guess we'll just wait and see. :)

4 way SLI doesn't scale well... You could have bought two of them and saved 2$. To each his own I guess...

There have been non fully unlocked chips branded TI before, the TI is usually just a middle card, inbetween two others.
