will the i7-4790k and Asus hero motherboard bottleneck my setup?

im going to buy 2 sli gtx titan x and im not sure if it'll bottlenack my setup or not?

i was tolled that buying the X99 motherboard and the 5820k is a better choice?

i was also tolled that the 5820k is better for workstation which i have no interest on, im only gonna game

so should i get the asus hero and i7-4790k

or the X99 and i7-5820k?

You'd be fine with a 4690K.

An i5 4690k/i7 4790k will do the job just fine. Be sure to get a good monitor for dual titan x

nah you're fine. nothing can bottleneck an i7 4790k, let alone 4690k.

"Sulit" (adj.) something that is worth it

We are going to disagree there.

I've got to disagree, especially when you are trying to achieve 80+ FPS. A lot of games become CPU bound at that point even with an overclocked 4790k.

Hardware: 4790k @ 4.6 GHz w/ H100i - MSI GTX 970 - Define R5 - MSI Z97 PC Mate - 840 EVO - G.Skill 2x4 GB

Peripherals: G402 - ATH-AD700x - Asus VG248QE 144 hz

Jay stated in a recent video that his 5960X is a bottleneck for his 3-way Titan X's.

That aside, if an i5-4690k or i7-4790k bottleneck, there's not a CPU that won't.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

exactly, an i7 4790k should hold up just fine against dual titan x, but do make sure to have an atleast 4k monitor, otherwise the gpu power would not be properly utilised..

1440p should not be hard at all for dual titan x, you can even go upto surround 1440p for the dual titan x setup
