Which overear to pair with ASUS Xonar Essence STX

got about $200~400 for a pair for overear, but not sure what to buy, I have Xonar Essence STX, and have in general CD quality and above, pop, classics, some heavy metal. 

 

Recommendations? Thanks in advanced

Something with atleast 8 times the 13ohms output impedance that soundcard has. (>104 ohm).

 

Something like a DT 880 (250ohm version) or a Sennheiser HD 650.

Return the godawful soundcard (or sell it) and up your budget to the HE-400i.
