R9 295x2 Owners Please Help

HectiKCookiE

So I looking at doing a mini itx build and want to go with an r9 295x2 but I heard that it thermal throttles really bad. Is this true, what's your opinion. (Please only people who have actually used these cards).

The VRM's get a bit hot because the fan cooling them is lackluster but the core temps stay low.

I don't have one, but make sure you have good airflow  especially with mini-atx.

Except it's water cooled so air flow doesn't matter

I didnt have a problem with throttling even when i had it in a NZXT s340 with minimal airflow. If you think it will run hot in your case, you can undelvolt it, I ran mine at -50mv and it worked perfectly with all games.

Now I have plenty of airflow and doing  push/pull on the radiator
