Ready for ESEA?

zXUnReliableXz

I play CSGO and I'm MG2. Lately the amount of trolls and hackers I've been getting in matchmaking is overwhelming. I find it impossible to get better when the whole game is ruined by one person, I seriously can't remember the last legit game I've played. I want to turn to ESEA because I Just want to play the game with people who try for real. Am I too low of a rank do you think or am I good?

You're not too low level.  You might as well if you can get a team going.

DMG here. ESEA is trash if you haven't heard. A year ago they used the client to mine Bitcoin on people's machines. Just a week ago they made it always running and can pull anything they so desire from your computer without you knowing.

just want to let people know on the misinformation about both these things, the bitcoin thing happened under even the owners noses, then one joked about it. they faced very heavy legal trouble as well ontop of that. Then the next thing, the ESEA client anticheat is always running now, thats true. But if you had it open before all the time it was doing the same thing, its been like that for years

There's nothing stopping them from doing it now. They want something before? They wait for you to log in again. They want something now? They get it. How do you prevent it now? Uninstall the client AND system level driver and reboot. No other way to go about it. Their way of handling it? (and I quote the founders): If you don't trust us, we don't want your business. And the fact the developers got to push a bitcoin miner without anyone knowing is bullshit. If you have the money to pay developers, you can pay another independent party to -check- it under contract.

hackers ? are you sure they arn't just good at the game ? , like shooting through thin walls and knowing the map well. ? I have played a while and havn't seen much hackers

no I'm talking like spinbotters that shoot negevs at the ground and get penta headshots hacking. VAC is a literal joke

I wouldn't buy ESEA at MG2, you should try CEVO.

I've heard cevo is just as bad is matchmaking from my lem friend

No one ever said lpkane was good with people, he's horrible at PR. Im waiting for Torbull to respond to this as he is the majority share owner of ESEA and is actually good with people.

I feel your frustration, I'm also MG2, yesterday we played against a whole premade lobby of smurfs.

The guy who had played the most in their team had 57 hours...

Needless to say, we got destroyed.

I've only encountered 2 obvious hackers in the 250 hours I've played so far, so maybe those guys you encounter are just really good?

I've had several times that my whole team is calling hacks on 1 guy from the enemy team, while I was 100% sure he was just a smurf and/or not cheating.

Also, I've been called a hacker many times and got reported numerous times, so yeah.
