4 Intakes, 1 exhaust. Positive Air pressure?

So, I am thinking of mounting 4 Noctua NF-A14's on the Fractal Design S, 3 on the front, and 1 on the bottom. Then I will get a Be Quiet! SilentWings 2 to mount on the back as an exhaust. Will the case have positive air pressure. (I will also have a Noctua NH-D15 cooler).

Yes, because you're forcing more air in than you're forcing out

I think so however you could do 3 and 2 and still have positive air pressure but better overall flow. Though I'm no expert

Well, I mean unless the intake fans you're using are turned off, yeah.

yes it will, assuming there are actually other holes in the case to keep an in take pressure.

It's positive but too many intakes do 3 intakes, 2 exhausts.

Having more fans isn't enough, they actually need to be pushing more air into the case than the exhaust fan is pulling out.

OP, you can do three intakes and one exhaust, it's fine. Those fans aren't going to be pulling in more air than the exhaust can push out.

But that is sorta the whole point of positive air pressure.

remember, if using filters on intake fans, this destroys the intake airflow and the

number of fans has nothing to do with positive/negative pressures. it is amount

of airflow the fan(s) create.

This will create positive pressure. If you are using filters I like to us SP fans.
