Apple Keyboard Issues with Teamspeak and Games

1823alex

So I play World of Tanks a lot as my main game and since I'm in a clan TS3 is a requirement, my push to talk is set to Q because E pisses the shits out of everyone around be as it's the most common letter in the english language I believe. The problem is when I hold Q to talk and W to move forward, and than I want to turn left using the A key, it's like I'm not even pressing the A key, the same thing happens if I hold Q to talk and S to move backwards, but it doesn't happen if I hold Q and than try to turn left, and none of this happens when I try and turn right while holding Q to talk W to move forward and D to turn right. Model No. A1314.

yeah, I'm confused. Try remapping it to C, that's what I use and it's 100% non obstructive

C is already bound to something in my tanks client, specifically reload a clip of shells, which I'd prefer to not remap.

that is a design flaw in many keyboards (circuits).

some key combinations just won't work ;)

_____

short:
- design flaw
- use other key

this picture describes the problem pretty accurately:

So pressing Q renders A and Z useless? That confuses me because if I press Q and A at the same time in my game, I can talk on TS and people hear me and my tank will turn right the problem is when I also press W.

nope.

pressing q and w makes a,s,z,x useless.

pressing q and a makes w,s,e,d,r,f,t,g,... useless.

pressing a and w makes s,q useless
