iPod Touch

PepperBurst

Hi guys I've been wanting to buy an iPod touch 5th gen. Already have a phone so it will be mainly used at times i don't want to bring my phone. Question is, should I wait out because of some rumors of a next gen iPod Touch to release or should I just buy one now?

I dunno if I'm stupid, but I would just buy an android smartphone for $200... But you probably want to use iTunes so iPod makes sense.

People don't want to use iTunes, but they want to use iOS. Anyway I would wait, because they will probably release a new iPod soon because the iPod 5 is getting pretty old. Not sure when they will release it, maybe in September because that is when Apple usually releases its new products.

I believe I've already said this but, there are times where I would not want to bring extra bulk when I just need to either play some music or some games at a certain situation. Also, I found that the DAC of iPods have more "thumph" than most 200 dollar phones, though part of it is personal preference anyway.

Really, it's for those who can't afford an iPhone but want the features of iOS.

OP. I would wait. If they don't release one by September, when they usually release it, then i would just buy it then.
