Upgrading rig want do you think?

I agree with everyone above i5 4690k and Z97. You will probably notice a good difference in games as well I did from my FX-6350.

Hey guys sometime soon I plan on upgrading my pc. Main reason for wanting to upgrade is since my AMD 8320 is really pulling down my 290 performance. Right now in my rig I have a 

  • CPU
    AMD FX-8320 8 Core Black Edition Processor (Stock CPU cooling)
  • Motherboard
    ASUS M5A99X EVO Motherboard R2
  • RAM
    Kingston Hyper X Fury HX318C10FBK2/8 8GB (2x4GB) Black
  • GPU
    MSI Radeon R9 290 Gaming 4GB
  • Case
    Corsair spec-01
  • Storage
    Western Digital WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX And a 250GB SSD
  • PSU
    Antec High Current Gamer 620W Modular HCG-620M
  • Display(s)
    Acer K242HL 24in LED Widescreen Monitor
  • Cooling
    Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition Red LED Fan x2 plus 1 random cheap fan
  • Operating System
    Windows 8.1
Things I plan on changing to
CPU: Intel Core i5 4690 
Motherboard : ASRock Fatal1ty H97 Performance Motherboard
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212X CPU cooler
Red sleeved cable kit  (Since I have a red and black themed build)
 
Just wanted your thoughts on what you think of the upgrades I plan on making sometime soon. My budget I'm planing to not be any more then 600 dollars would prefer less then that (Does Not Include postage) Oh and I'm Aussie plan on getting it all off Pc Case Gear.

You should probably get the 4690k and overclock it to shit if you want to get the most of that pick.

I would go with a 4460 and an H97 or an 4440 and a H81 motherboard.

The 4690 isn't worth if you don't go for the overclocked version, waste of money.

Otherwise it seems good.

So the Intel Core i5 4690K is the overclocked version right?

I do not recommend an i5 4590,as it is essentially a 4460 with a small clockspeed boost and an extra $30.
